ifilm English to start airing ‘Until Being with Sorayya’

Iranian series ‘Until Being with Sorayya’ has been scheduled to be aired on ifilm English TV from Thursday night.

The series, produced by Elham Ghafouri and directed by Sirous Moqaddam, will start airing from May 21, 2020.

It is the story of a woman, Sorayya, who lost her husband fifteen years ago. She works at a hospital where she nurses one of her patients, a retired colonel, back to health and marries him in secret.

Sorayya is persuaded into giving the colonel’s son money in return for a monthly share of the profit he makes; unaware of the fact that the money will soon turn her dearest into her enemies.

Notable among the cast are Mehran Ahmadi, Homayoun Ershadi, Azita Hajiyan, Elnaz Habibi, Linda Kiani, Pourandokht Mohaymen, Maryam Boubani, Mir-Taher Mazloumi, Houman Seyyedi, and Arsalan Qasemi.

‘Until Being with Sorayya’, made in 2011, will replace ‘The Spiritualists’, which will be aired daily at 23:00 GMT.

ifilm English will also repeat each episode of the social drama on the next day at 05:00, 11:00 and 17:00 (all GMT times). The series is comprised of 30 episodes.
